The choir was founded in 2010 to forge international ties with the Härnös and Diocese in Sweden and to offer music in churches and other venues throughout Lincoln and beyond. These churches are often small, sometimes remote and may feel they lack the resources
they need for larger choral services or special occasions and, as such, we offer both church services and concerts to aid worship or help with a fundraising initiative. We have also offered workshops and come-and-sing events. Support is, therefore, crucial to our ethos and we are a friendly choir who meet to share in the joy of singing with one another. In this capacity we have been privileged to sing in a wide range of venues from theatres to markets; cathedrals to historic houses, and pubs to churches. We have always enjoyed a warm welcome, sometimes cold feet, many hot cups of tea, as well as an amazing selection of scones, cakes and raffle prizes.
